16 Mexican, Tex-Mex and Latin restaurants in Charlotte, from South Boulevard and Plaza Midwood to University City, with hours from each one's own site.
Last checked 2026-10-12. Refreshed every three months.
Charlotte’s Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants cluster along South Boulevard from South End to LoSo, on Central Avenue and Seventh Street in Plaza Midwood, and in University City off North Tryon Street and J.M. Keynes Drive.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Charlotte city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-12. We left out national fast-food chains with many Charlotte stores (Chipotle, Qdoba, Taco Bell and the like); their store finders list them. Places whose sites would not load, or no longer belong to the restaurant, are left out too. “Not found on its site” means we could not find hours on the restaurant’s own pages. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
