The course runs on city streets from Uptown through the neighborhoods on the morning of Nov. 14. As of Oct. 25 the organizer has not posted the 2026 street closure list; its race week page says closures and full parking details will be shared there before race day. We will add them to this page when they are out, and to our road construction and closures page. Uptown deck and meter rules are on our getting around page.

For spectators
Organizers say the party is at the finish line, with a post-race festival open to runners and spectators. The course starts in Uptown and winds through Charlotte’s neighborhoods; maps, turn-by-turn directions and elevation profiles are on the official race site.
The cause
The race supports Hemby Children’s Hospital, according to the organizer. Runners can raise money through the Hemby fundraiser on the registration page.
