10 Charlotte bakeries with 17 locations in NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Uptown, Park Road and Ballantyne, with hours and phones from each bakery's own site.

Last checked 2026-10-12. Refreshed every three months.

Charlotte’s bakeries cluster in Plaza Midwood along Central and Pecan avenues, in NoDa and along North Davidson Street, in Uptown on Tryon and College streets, and around Park Road Shopping Center, with more in Ballantyne, Carmel Commons and near UNC Charlotte.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Charlotte city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each bakery’s own website on 2026-10-12. We left out national chains with many stores (Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’ and the like), bakeries whose own sites give an address outside Charlotte, and sites that would not load. Donut and ice cream shops are on our ice cream and desserts list. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places?
